Senior Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing

In his current role, Praveen spearheads sales, marketing and commercial operations for all products and services that are being commercialized in India. He manages a team of seasoned professionals across these functions.

Praveen was associated with leading organizations like Pharmacia & Upjohn, Biocon, Dabur Oncology and Ferring in various leadership roles, predominantly in Oncology and Immunology super specialties. He comes with a successful track record across operational functions of sales, marketing, medical affairs and P&L management. He has an interest in people management, strategic planning, conceptualization, scaling and commercialization of business units.

In his previous role, Praveen worked at Biocon, a leading Biotech company in India, for nearly a decade. His last assignment was Senior Director & Head of Oncology and Immunology business units– India & SAARC, with P&L responsibility. Monoclonal Antibodies (mAbs), Nano particle technology platform as well conventional high-end chemotherapy drugs have been a part of the unique portfolio that were under his charge. His association with previous organisations gave him the exposure to leadership roles and sales management across India.

A graduate in Physics from CMS college, Kerala, one of India’s earliest established colleges , he holds a post specialisation in Marketing Management from Pondicherry University, and General Management from the United Business Institute, Belgium.
